A Robot With Feelings—That Your Child Builds From Scratch!

Meet Emotibot—the expressive, hands-on DIY robot kit that kids assemble and bring to life themselves! With blinking eyes, a remote control, and even a message board, this quirky robot doesn’t just move—it communicates. Emotibot turns simple electronics and mechanics into an imaginative STEM adventure filled with personality and pride.

How it works?

  • Build the Bot & Remote: Assemble the robot’s body and its handheld controller using high-precision wooden panels and our secure rubber-band joinery.
  • Wire the Personality: Plug in the DC motors and LED "eyes" using modular wires—no soldering required to make your robot drive, blink, and wink.
  • Drive & Communicate: Use the remote to steer Emojibot and use the customizable front plate to display messages, emojis, or names.

Why it's awesome?

  • Kids build a real, remote-controlled robot that can express "feelings" through blinking and winking eyes.
  • Includes a built-in cargo tray so Emojibot can deliver small toys or secret notes across the room.
  • Features a customizable message board on the front for kids to add their own creative personality.
  • BIS certified and completely safe for children with a modular, "cold-assembly" design.
  • Made from a durable wooden finish that looks great on a shelf and can be personalized with markers or paint.

What will you learn?

  • Expressive Circuitry: Learn how LEDs can be used to simulate human-like expressions like blinking and winking.
  • Remote Control Mechanics: Discover how a handheld controller sends signals to tell a robot exactly where to go.
  • Mechanical Design: Understand how to build a chassis that can carry loads while remaining agile and easy to steer.
  • Basic Electronics: Master the fundamentals of connecting motors, switches, and lights into a single working system.

What's in the box?

  • All mechanical, electronic, and accessory parts to build Emotibot and its remote
  • Pre-cut wooden panels and body parts
  • DC motors, wheels, LED components
  • Tools including screwdrivers and spanners
  • Battery holders, wires, connectors

Fun intro to robotics

Great kit if your child is curious about how robots work. My daughter enjoyed assembling the wheels and motors. The message board idea is cute, she wrote little notes on it.

Very engaging STEM toy

My son usually loses interest quickly but this kept him focused for a long time. He liked wiring the LEDs and motors himself. Good hands-on learning without screens.

Good balance of fun and learning

Bought this for my nephew (11) and he finished building it in about an hour with minimal help. The LED eyes blinking makes the robot feel quite expressive. Nice concept overall.

Creative and interactive robot

The best part is that kids actually build the robot from scratch and then control it with the remote. My 9 year old daughter decorated the message board with emojis.

Kids felt proud when it started moving

We bought this for a birthday gift and my daughter assembled it with her cousin. Once the robot started driving around the room with its blinking eyes they were both cheering.

Perfect weekend project

We built this together on a Sunday afternoon. The instructions were clear and the parts fit nicely. My daughter now uses the robot to carry small things around the room which she finds hilarious.

My son loved building his own robot

My 10 year old was completely absorbed while building this. The blinking LED eyes are a nice touch and the remote control works well. The moment it started moving around the house he was so proud. He also made a novel use of it - used it for Ganapti to bring in Bappa - really cool kit!

FAQs

How much help will my child need to build Makerverse products?

Very little! We design our kits to be intuitive and kid-friendly. Most children aged 7 and up can follow the visual guide on their own.

Is there a step-by-step guide included?

Yes! Every kit comes with a detailed, visual instruction manual that walks you through the entire process. We focus on clear illustrations so kids can follow along at their own pace.

Do I need glue or special tools?

Nope! We’ve designed our kits for a mess-free experience. Instead of glue, we use high-precision laser-cut parts and a smart rubber-band locking system to keep everything secure. Everything you need—from the electronics to the mechanical fasteners—is included right in the box.

Is there any soldering involved?

Nope! While our kits focus on building real electronics, we use modular, plug-and-play parts. All components connect via pluggable wires, making assembly completely heat-free, safe, and—best of all—easy to take apart and rebuild if you want to experiment!

Are the materials safe for my child?

Absolutely. All Makerverse kits are BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and ISI marked. This means every component—from the electronics to the building materials—meets rigorous national safety and quality standards for toys.

What happens if a part is missing or I break a piece?

Don't worry! If you have any trouble during the build or find a component missing, just reach out to us at +91707501103 or support@makerverse.in. We'll be happy to help you out! We want to ensure every maker successfully completes their project!

Are these products designed and made in India?

Yes! All Makerverse kits are proudly designed and manufactured in India, focusing on blending traditional themes with modern STEM learning.
